I’m Jamie, an Aussie through and through—equally at home trekking the red sands of the Outback, paddling the rugged coastlines of Tassie, or bushwalking through subtropical rainforests. My love of the wild began as a kid camping under the stars in my hometown of Darwin, but over the years I grew frustrated by gear that was either bulky, under-performing or built with little regard for the environment. On one particularly scorching summer hike, my tent poles snapped in the desert heat—and with them went my confidence in ‘off-the-shelf’ camping kit.

That moment sparked the idea for CampHaven. I teamed up with fellow adventurers, gear designers, and eco-conscious manufacturers to hand-select and prototype a line of ultra-lightweight, ultra-durable camping essentials—each piece rigorously tested across Australia’s most extreme environments.
